In the name of "game has got to respect game," here is a collection of some great aphorisms.

Good, eye-opening, post from Dredmorbius.  This was in the comments:
The tech sector is evil because its fundamental business model depends on capturing and monetizing the attention of millions of individuals, without compensating these individuals for their time and unpaid intellectual and emotional labor.
Some of the rest of the comment goes potentially off the rails, or at least is too confident about certain specifics, but still it is some food for thought.

I guess I'm giving the alt-right . . . dating advice now?  I then did this piece on it.

The next system wont be created by the most thoughtful and knowledgeable people -- the last one wasn't.  They never are.
